John Spriggs

Spriggs has had one of the most versatile careers in Freeskiing starting with moguls in the 90’s and switching to competitive Slopestyle and Big Air contests like the US Open in the early 2000’s. He quickly grew his competitive career and competed in the 2006, 2007, and 2008 Winter X Games. John was also filming full video parts for major ski production companies including Rage Films, Poor Boyz Productions and Teton Gravity Research. In the 2008/9 season Spriggs focused more of his energy and attention on filming in the backcountry. In that season he had a jaw dropping segment in “Everyday is a Saturday” with Poor Boyz Productions for which he was awarded “Powder Segment of the Year” and “Movie of the Year” in the Powder Awards. Spriggs most recent project was with his good friend Tanner Hall called “Ring the Alarm”, which dropped this past fall on www.tannerhall.ski.
